Dear Editor

Throw-away lines (Dominic Geiger, “Fluoride has city frothing at mouth”, DM. 8/5) come easily.

Serious research takes effort.

Preserving freedom of choice is a major imperative.

Mackay Council considers outsiders as stakeholders in the matter of fluoridation (meeting report, 1/5/13).

Locals are mere bagatelle; to be ignored and force fed “fluoride” from China.

Yes, from China, where “fluoride” is not added to water supplies.

Where “fluoride” is stored in open pits, so toxic, that birds die when they fly over them.

Where melamine in formula killed babies.

Where rat flesh mixed with gelatine is sold as lamb.

Where skin is harvested from executed humans for use in cosmetics (collagen).

China, that exports a fluoridating agent which contains an unidentified substance.

Yes, from China, whose dismal practice of stomping on citizens’ rights has been imported – along with its “fluoride”.

Yours truly
