Jodie Aardoom understandably asks, “What can be done to help the locals whose rights have been taken away?” (“Vote on fluoride removed rights”, DM, 6/5/13).
The solution is a grass-root’s movement to unseat the mayor and the seven pro-fluoride councillors.
This is possible; as demonstrated years ago on the Gold Coast after its councillors imposed their fluoridating will on protesting residents.
Colin Phillips set the wheels in motion.
All dictatorial councillors were unseated at the next GC council election.
Incoming councillors brought fluoridation to an end and the GC remained unfluoridated until Bligh & Co treated Queenslanders as serfs, by mandating fluoridation.
