Dear Christina & Matt,

I have been in correspondence with Dr. Paul Connett (lead author, The Case Against Fluoride, ISBN: 9781603582872), and he is sick and tired of the misrepresentations issued by Dr. Michael Foley on the “safety and effectiveness” of water fluoridation, as recently reported in your respective newspapers:

Dr. Connett therefore wishes to challenge Dr. Foley to debate the issue with him in public. Dr. Connett feels that if Dr. Foley is so confident in his assurances on this matter, he should not have any problem debating someone with a different point of view.

Dr. Connett is planning a visit to Australia and the dates are not fixed at this point. I request that Dr. Foley please provide the dates when he would be available to debate, so Dr. Connett can plan his visit accordingly.

Feel free to publicise this challenge to debate in your publications.

We encourage all our members to forward this email widely.
