Attention: Hon. John- Langbroek, Minister of Education (QLD)

This is a letter borne of many questions asked of the Jay-Mah Creations Australia Research Division in recent years, and sparked by headlines today:

December 8th, 2012

RE: QUOTE: “Education Minister and former dentist John-Paul Langbroek said it was “an open and shut case” fluoride prevented tooth decay and councils should not opt out.”

SOURCE: http://www.theaustralian.com.au/news/nudgee-lnp-mp-jason-woodforth-claims-31-mps-want-fluoride-out-of-queensland-water/story-e6frg6n6-1226532471114

We the people, ask the Minister for EDUCATION John Paul Langbroek (an ex-dentist), to overhaul on his research/education on water fluoridation.

Firstly, about the chemical(s) — silicofluorides — and most commonly, hydrofluorosilic acid – that we are ingesting:

“While each fluoride product has associated risks with regards to handling, fluorosilicic acid is a particularly aggressive and hazardous chemical and requires specific operator training and awareness.  In addition, specific fluoride system design, particularly with regard to equipment flushing, also needs to be considered.  On the other hand, powdered fluoride products present their own health issues, specifically with regard to management of the dust problem when handling.  This normallyrequires a reasonably complex and costly dust extraction/air filtration system.  All of these OH&S issues can be overcome, but generally at a cost, which makes the application of fluoride to small water treatment facilities uneconomic.”

Question: How can a chemical that is “a particularly aggressive and hazardous chemical”, be good for our soft tissues/bodily health; let alone, our teeth that are already being corroded by poor diet, too much sugar, etc? Please answer, directly, without ‘spin’.

As the Education Minister, we, the people note, that Mr Langbroek is apparently completely unaware of the weakness of the evidence behind the purported ‘benefits’ of fluoridation ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-yq3zZXzU7M ).

If he believes there is some sort of beneficial effect on teeth from swallowing fluoridated water, he has obviously been poorly advised

( a. http://www.fluoridealert.org/issues/caries/topical_systemic/    and, b. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=88pfVo3bZLY&feature=player_detailpage#t=357s ).

We challenge Mr Langbroek to read the book, ‘The Case Against Fluoride’ ( ISBN: 9781603582872 ), written by a former professor of chemistry and environmental toxicology, along with two PhD co-authors; one with doctorates in medicine and biophysics; and the other, a former professor of biological sciences with extensive experience in cell biology and immunology.

If Mr Langbroek wishes to read some reviews of the book first, perhaps he can start with this one –http://www.chelseagreen.com/content/isfr-reviews-the-case-against-fluoride/  – written by Professor Vyvyan Howard, a medically-qualified toxico-pathologist and the current leader of the Nano Systems Research Group at the University of Ulster ( http://biomed.science.ulster.ac.uk/nsb/Professor-C-Vyvyan-Howard,22.html#page=background ).  IfLangbroek KNOWS more about fluoride than Professor Vvyan Howard, we’d love to see Langbroek’s books, credentials, etc.  If not, then Langbroek needs to apologise to the public, for his complacency and lack of knowledge.

The review above, luckily for Mr Langbroek, a former dentist, should not be too difficult to follow.

And finally, has Mr Langbroek seen this latest couple of video’s from overseas (uploaded on December 5th, 2012) in which the Councillors would NOT answer civil, researched, sensible questions about water fluoridation?:

Pt. 1: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y30XRd2Ksl0

Pt. 2: http://youtu.be/sYjOBT_v_7M

We, the people, CHALLENGE Mr Langbroek, to answer the same questions asked in this Council, as we hold him accountable for the mis-information and chemical mischief, he also promotes.  If Langbroek remains silent, then all the recipients of this email list (over 3000+ extended) will know, that he is complicit in willingly poisoning the public with hydrofluorosilic acid – a Schedule 7 (S7) poison: http://data.rmt.com.au/msds/3082468.pdf

We expect to receive an emailed (not GENERIC) personal/original response back from Mr Langbroek himself, that does not spew out the same lies and rubbish we’ve heard and read the past years ie. that fluoride is ‘safe and effective’, safe and effective, safe and effective’, etc, etc, when the COMPLETE lack of safety studies done (http://dianabuckland.webs.com/nosafetydatafl.htm ) say otherwise; and so do the facts of our disease rates (for Australia is in DENTAL CRISIS despite over 50 years of fluoridation See:  http://www.fluoridealert.org/?s=dental+crisis+australia   or,  http://www.fluoridealert.org/?s=Tasmania+is+83%25+fluoridated+but+has+some+of+the+%E2%80%9Cworst+teeth+in+Australia%E2%80%9D

Additionally, the rest of the world has rejected or banned fluoride, and the USA is removing fluoride at a rate of knots:http://www.fluoridealert.org/content/communities/

Additionally, are you not worried about infants being exposed to hydrofluorosilic acid?

Fluoride Warning Issued for Infants http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vM0YhefvZ4c

Are kids being overdosed on fluoride? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4RnGr7jWALI

http://www.fluoridealert.org/issues/infant-exposure/

It is high time Mr Langbroek, to answer these questions of the people – not spit out more spin and lies you are promoting as somehow, an ‘open and shut case’ – with no debate necessary.

Sincere regards,

The People of QLD who do not want water fluoridation.
